Vickram School of Teacher Training, is a premier teacher training institute founded and managed by SRINIVAS TRUST. The Institute was established during the academic year 2004 - 05 with an annual intake of 50 students with Approval from National Council for Teacher Education, Bangalore and recognition from Government of Tamilnadu. The Institute offers 2 year Diploma in Teacher Education Course.
The institute is located on Madurai Sivagangai Road, about 19 kms from Madurai city limit and 20 kms from Sivagangai city. The college campus is free from pollution and is ideal for studies.

The diploma program is approved by National Council for Teacher Education and recognised by Government of Tamilnadu with an annual intake of 50 students.
Infrastructure
Campus: The college campus spreads over a spacious area of 10 acres, on Madurai Sivagangai highway. The college is built as per NCTE norms. The Educational area measures to 23,542 sq-ft. The college is just 20 minutes drive from Madurai, the temple city of India.
Hostels: The institute offers residential facilities to the students managed by experienced wardens who ensure that the inmates feel at home.
Separate well-furnished, safe & secure Men's and Women's Hostel are situated within the campus. There is a mess unit for each hostel. Students staying in the hostel have to necessarily take their food in the Hostel Mess. The mess attached to the hostels are managed with student's participation.
For the recreation of the inmates, each Hostel has Recreation room with television, library, Gymnasium and browsing facilities. Separate telephone connections are available for the respective hostels. The students can also avail themselves the facilities provided by the Physical Education and Sports department.
Dining Services: The institute also runs a full-fledged canteen for the benefit of the students and faculties alike. It offers quality food, snacks and beverages like tea/ coffee and soft drinks as refreshment.
Mineral Water Plant: The college has a mineral water plant in the campus to provide clean drinking water to the students and staff.
Transport: The institute offers fully residential courses. However, for the benefit of the day scholars and staffs, transport facilities are provided. Currently about six buses ply from different nodal points covering Madurai and Sivagangai cities. The buses are well maintained and furnished for the comfort of the students.
Sports: The institute has separate playgrounds for cricket, football and volleyball. It has cricket nets for providing better practice. The ground has a separate area marked for other track and field games. Apart from the above indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess and Carrom are played by the students. The college is planning to set up Tennis, Squash and Badmiton courts.
