NIT-Tiruchi revamps management curriculum

Tiruchi: To sustain its top-notch ranking at national level in terms of return on investment, the Department of Management Studies (DoMS), National Institute of Technology–Tiruchi (NIT-T), has revamped its curriculum across all functional domains, offering industry-specific specializations.

By framing a robust curriculum with inputs from companies like Genpact, MindTree, Fidelity, HP, and AOL, the department has earned appreciation of recruiters.
Students, according to G. Kannabiran, Professor, reflect capability to bring about a transformation in management practices, drawing from the richness of the curriculum.

An ever-evolving curriculum, nurtured through superior industry-institute interaction keeps students up-to-date on the latest corporate nuances.

Integrated knowledge
The department develops entrepreneurs who have an integrated knowledge of managerial theory and practice.

The students' exposure is further nurtured by various extra-curricular club activities, Prof. Kannabiran said, referring to the reflection of the students' capability in the successful placements.

Placement brochure
The Executive Director of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Tiruchi, A.V. Krishnan, released the placement brochure recently to mark the commencement of classes for the fresh batch of students.
