Website announces prize winners
Coimbatore: The
collegesintamilnadu.com. website that offers the cut-off mark analysis of three years and rank of each engineering college in the State affiliated to the various Anna Universities to gauge his / her chance of getting admission in any particular college has announced the winners from those who had registered in the site.
Three toppers have been chosen for the first, second, and third prizes, and 10 others have received consolation prizes.
The three toppers are V. Sharini from Chennai who received Rs..25,000, R. Pandian from Tuticorin received Rs.15,000, and R.G. Aiswarya from Coimbatore received Rs.10,000.
Those who received consolation prizes of Rs. 1,000 each are N.J. Shirabthinath from Madurai, G. Indhumathy from Coimbatore, V. Vigenshwari from Madurai, M. Sriram from Aruppukottai, C. Rekha from Chennai, M.V. Srinidhi from Hosur, D.V. Nagaradha from Virudhunagar, A. Smilien Rophie from Kovilpatti, K. Priyanga from Kumbakonam, and M. Udhayabhanu from Salem.
Tradition
“Every year the site comes up with something novel. In keeping with the tradition, this year, the cash prizes were announced for toppers who registered on the site.
The first three prizes will be awarded to the respective students at Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai, on the induction day.
The consolation prize cheques have been dispatched to the winners,” R.V. Srivatsan, Director of Adroit Techno Solutions, Chennai, who has hosted the site, told The Hindu. The prizes are sponsored by Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai.
