Chennai: Anumula Jithendar Reddy of Andhra Pradesh has secured the first rank in the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination for admission to B. Tech degree programmes.

As many as 1.51 lakh students appeared for the entrance examination which was held in 91 cities across the country and in Dubai, Riyadh and Singapore on April 17. A. Janardhan Reddy and Jinit Sanjay Bhatt secured the second and third rank respectively. Only 50 candidates secured over 80%. The results have been published in the following websites: www.vit.ac.in, www.schools9.com, www. globalinfowings.com, www. indiaresults.com and www. minglebox.com. The counselling will begin on June 2 and will go on till 14.
