Applications are invited for the unified single window admission for first year BE, BTech Degree courses 2009 to the University Departments of Anna Universities, Government and Govt. Aided Engineering Colleges and for the seats surrendered by the Self - Financing Engineering Colleges.

Last Date for Issue of Application Forms: 30.05.2009 (05.00 PM)
Last Date for Receipt of completed Application Forms: 31.05.2009 (05.30 PM)

Application Cost:
In Person: Rs.500/- (General) and Rs.250/- (Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates)
By Post: Rs.700/- (General) and Rs.450/- (Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates)

Mode of Payment (DD / Cash):
Demand Draft in favour of "The Director, Admissions, Anna University Chennai" payable at Chennai from any Nationalised bank. The name and address of the candidate should be written in the reverse of the demand draft.
Application Forms:

• In Person: Application forms can be obtained from the centres given in the website www.annauniv.edu/tnea2009 by cash / demand draft.
  
  
• By Post: From "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2009, Anna University Chennai, Chennai - 600 025" by sending a letter along with DD and an address label written in capital letters to which the application is to be mailed. Candidates are instructed to write the name and address on the reverse side of the Demand draft.
  SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu who want to avail Registration fee concession (Rs.250/-) should produce a xerox copy of the Community certificate obtained from competent authority.
  
  
• Through Website: Fill the Online Application from the website www.annauniv.edu/tnea2009 and send the application along with Demand Draft towards registration fee.
  
  
• Special Reservations: Candidates seeking admission under Special reservation category should enclose a separate special reservation application along with the main application together with a DD for Rs.100/- for each special reservation with attested xerox copies of relevant documents. The applications under Sports Quota should be submitted along with all the documents only in person.

The completed application forms should reach "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2009, Anna University Chennai, Chennai - 600 025" on or before 31.05.2009, by 05:30 PM.
