Applications are invited for admission to the following PG Degree Programmes M.E. (Evening), M.C.A. (Regular / Evening) and M.B.A. (Regular) in Anna University, Tiruchirappalli for the academic year 2009 - 10. TANCET 2009 score is mandatory for the admission to the above programmes.

Programs Offered:
1.PG Degree Programmes (Regular / Evening): MBA, MCA (Regular / Evening), M.E.(Evening) in Structural Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, CAD/CAM

2.PG Degree Programmes for Teaching Faculties working in Engineering Colleges and Polytechnic Colleges in Tamilnadu.(Modular Based Credit Banking Scheme-MBCBS): M.E. in Structural Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Applied Electronics, Embedded ystem Technologies, Communication Systems, CSE, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering and Operations Research.

3.Degree Programmes for Children of NRIs, Foreign Nationals / PIOs and children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries.

Last Date for the issue and submission of Applications for Regular / Evening PG Programmes: 15.06.2009
Last Date for the issue and submission of Applications for Teaching Faculties PG Programmes: 08.05.2009
Last Date for the issue and submission of Applications for Children of NRIs, Foreign Nationals / PIOs Programmes: 30.06.2009

Application Cost:

• The Application fees for PG programmes (Regular & Evening) is Rs.600/-(Rs.650/-by post) for General Category or Rs.300/- (Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates) (Rs.350/-by post) on production of a copy of community certificate
• Rs.600/- (Rs.650/- by post) for PG programmes through MBCBS irrespective of categories.
• US $200/- for PG programmes for Children of NRIs, Foreign Nationals / PIOs and children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries.

Mode of Payment (DD):
Demand Draft in favour of "The Director (Admissions), Anna University, Tiruchirappalli" payable at Tiruchirappalli.
Application Forms:

• Application for all above programmes can be obtained in person or by post from Anna University Tiruchirappalli.
  
• Through Website: Application Form can be downloaded from the website www.tau.edu.in.

Mode of Selection:
1. PG Degree Programmes (Self-Supporting): For all PG Programmes (Regular & Evening) TANCET 2009 score is requried.

2. Selection to the PG Programmes through MBCBS is based on merit and experience (TANCET score is not requried and this scheme is only for teachers working in technical institutions).
