Applications are invited for admission to the following programmes in Alagappa University, Karaikudi for the academic year 2008 - 09.

Important Dates to Remember:
Date and Time of Entrance Test: B.Ed - 14.06.2008, 10.00 to 12.00 AM.
Date and Time of Entrance Test: M.Ed - 14.06.2008, 02.00 to 04.00 PM.
Last Date for receving completed Applications is extended upto: 09.06.2008

Application Cost:
Rs.300/-(Rs.150/- for SC/ST).

Demand Draft in favour of "The Registrar, Alagappa University" payable at Karaikudi.
Application Forms:

• In Person: Application and prospectus can be obtained from the undersigned on requisition along with a crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Alagappa University" payable at Karaikudi by enclosing a self addressed stamped (Rs 15/-) envelope of 35cm*10cm. SC/ST candidates should submit attested Xerrox copy of the community certificate along with the requisition letter.
  
• Through Website: Application Forms can be downloaded from http://www.alagappauniversity.ac.in. Down loaded filled Application shouls be accompained by a DD for the specified amount. Candidates appearing for final year/semster examination can also apply.
  
  Eligibility:
  For B.Ed Course: A degree in Tamil / English / Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology / History with Marks. For O.C. 50%. B.C. 45%, M.B.C. 43%,SC/ST 40% in part iii and allied subject. For Commerce M.com, alone are eligible.
  
  For M.Ed Course: B.Ed With 50% in aggregate those who have completed the B.Ed Course also apply.
